What is Bubble Tea?

Bubble tea originated in Taiwan in the 1980’s and since then many different varieties have been developed all over the world.

Bubble tea consists of two different components; a fruity or milky tea, and a topping.

Toppings can range from Poppin' Juice Balls, which are small balls of juice that burst with flavour, traditional tapioca pearls (not the stuff from school dinners!), or little cubes of flavoured jelly.
